Back in the 60′s when phones stayed in one place in the home, people would  buy a “phone bench” on which to set their phone, phonebook and themselves while the talked on the phone.  This is one such bench, wrought iron and  newly reupholstered in bright orange vinyl.

4  wooden side chairs from Mobler.  Very well made with screw-on legs.  They are painted black and show mild signs of wear on the backs (finish worn thin from handling).   I’m not sure if this was the original paint but it looks like it might be.  Made in Denmark in 1964.
